The board and the clock come up together.
Drag pieces onto the shadow. Tap a piece to turn it 45°; tap it twice and that flips the parallelogram, half-turns the rest. The buttons under the board do the same to whichever piece you touched last.
How the daily works
A new silhouette unlocks at midnight your time, chosen by the date from the shape library. Everybody gets the same shape on the same date, and you don't need an account to play.
You get one attempt, and the clock starts when you open this page. Pausing hides the puzzle, and if you close the tab you'll pick up where you left off. Once it's solved, the answer is shown with your result.
Solve a puzzle every day to build a streak. Hints won't break it, but a missed day will, and it can't be made up later. Your archive keeps every day you played, with your time, moves and where you ranked against everyone else. Both are saved in this browser, so clearing your site data loses them. Make an account to keep them safe and take them to any device.

How the board is ranked

A solve with no hints always beats a solve with one hint, even if it was slower. Among players who used the same number of hints, the fastest wins. If two players finish in the same second, the one with fewer moves wins.
When you finish, you're placed on today's board and can see how you did against everyone else. Your results stay in your archive to look back on later.
