How to play

Each puzzle shows a silhouette with no internal lines. Fill it completely using all seven tangram pieces, with no overlaps and nothing hanging over the edge. Because the pieces have exactly the silhouette's area, covering the shadow is the whole win condition.

Move a piece by dragging it. Corners snap to nearby corners, so pieces click together instead of needing pixel-perfect placement.
Rotate with the arrow buttons, the A and D keys, a double-click, or the scroll wheel — 45° at a time, which is all a tangram ever needs.
Flip with F. Only the parallelogram changes when you flip it; the other six pieces are symmetric.
Stuck? H drops one missing piece into place, and Solve shows the whole answer. Revealing the answer doesn't set a best time.

The ten shapes

The puzzles run from the classic square and triangle through the arrow, the sailboat and the tree. None of them were drawn by hand: each silhouette is generated from a verified arrangement of the seven pieces, so every shape you see is guaranteed to be solvable — which is not true of most tangram outlines you can sketch. Draw a cat freehand and the odds are it cannot be made at all.
